It’s a sad fact of life that in order to get a phone with flagship-level specs you’d have to go with phones around 5-inches or more, which makes the Z3 Compact all the more appealing to people who like compact phones.

Flagship performance in a phone that you can use with one hand

It’s kind of obvious who the winner for this particular category would be, considering that Sony was the one who bucked the trend of making smaller, slower versions of flagships and tacking mini to the name. The Z3 Compact is really rather special. While we only managed to write a hands-on article of the device when it officially launched back in October, we’ve managed to get some time on and off with a demo device courtesy of a friend of ours. And from what we’ve seen, the Z3 Compact is one of the best compact smartphone out in the market today. It has all the right things going for it: powerful processor, a display that you can actually use one handed, and battery life that goes on and on (seriously, read the international reviews of this thing, the battery goes for two days with moderate use). Unlike the company’s Xperia Z3, the Xperia Z3 Compact is not just an incremental upgrade from the previous Z1 Compact. We wholeheartedly recommend upgrading to (or switching) to the Z3 Compact if you’re tired of big, clumsy smartphones that you can’t use one handed.
