Unboxing the HP TouchPad

HP TouchPad! Wooo!

Unboxing the HP TouchPad

Shortly after HP announced that they would stop supporting the HP TouchPad they dropped the price to $100 USD (4,300) making it the most affordable fully functioning tablet in the market today. The buying frenzy that followed was amazing and HP TouchPad became one of the fastest selling gadgets in Amazon. Who can blame the consumers? WebOS is considered okay and I think it’s only a matter of time before someone is able to do a hack that will allow you to change the OS to Android.

One of our readers and good friends, Mau Duque, did an unboxing and sent us the photos here for Unbox (he lives in the US). Let me just share with everyone the pics and his initial impressions.

Box kinda reminds me of the iPad box
Beside the iPad 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Manuals, manuals, and more manuals inside the box
WebOS in action! Multitasking is great with the cards system.
The debut of Unbox on the HP TouchPad (Lol)

We have an actual unit on the way for review. We’ll do another entry with all the details soon. 🙂
