To be unveiled at MWC 2019?
Remember the announcement LG made that they will unveil a 5G phone at MWC 2019? While we are expecting the G8 ThinQ, LG might have another surprise in store by announcing the V50 ThinQ—their first 5G phone.
Leakster Evan Blass posted what appears to be the official render of the V50 ThinQ, and it comes with 5G branding, along with Sprint’s logo on the home screen.
In terms of external appearance, the V50 ThinQ looks identical to the V40 ThinQ save for the individual camera bumps on the triple rear camera setup. Given the similarities, it is presumed that the V50 ThinQ will have upgraded internals and not be a new model since the V40 ThinQ was launched last October.
Rumored specs include a Snapdragon 855 processor, X50 Modem for the 5G feature, Vapor Chamber Cooling, 4000mAh battery, and a rather expensive price of KRW 1.3-1.5 million (~Php 60.4k-69.7k)
