In the never-ending quest to make a phone stand out from the pack, manufacturers have tried putting curved displays, self-healing backs and even dual-cameras, but Vaporcade is looking to do
something…different. The startup is trying to attract the burgeoning e-cigaratte (vape) market, and has announced the Jupiter – a phone that has a vaporizer on the back.
The company is saying that the Jupiter will come in both 3G and LTE variants, with price tags of $299 and $499 respectively. Beyond that, no one knows what the phone will come packing – the company hasn’t announced features aside from the built-in vape at the back of the phone. There’s also a good chance that all of this is an elaborate hoax, and even if the phone did materialize, we’re guessing that the device would probably sport mid-range specs at best and have a modified vape at the back.
