ViewSonic ViewPad 7e Tablet

Then I hear “ViewSonic”, I immediately remember my 22″ monitor at LCD home. I’ve associated the brand with monitors for the longest time so I was a bit surprised when I found out they were getting into tablets with the ViewPad 7e. I dismissed it when I first heard about it but it looks like this product is worth writing about because of the affordable price tag! The ViewSonic ViewPad 7e will retail for just $199.99 (Php8,600)!

What's inside this thing?

What’s inside this thing? The 7″ tablet (800×600) runs on a 1GHz ARM A8 CPU (not bad) and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with ViewScene 3D User Interface. It has 4GB storage but it does have a slot for a microSD card up to 32GB, effectively putting it at a maximum of 36GB storage.

The ViewPad 7e hits the US this month and in November. Hopefully we’ll see some units in the Philippines within the year.
