They feature Qualcomm’s latest wireless audio chip
Aside from the NEX 3, vivo also launched its premium TWS earbuds as well. The brand claims that its offering is the first true wireless high-definition wireless earphones. Being in development for two years, the TWS earbuds’ main feature is Qualcomm’s flagship QCC5126 wireless audio chip. The dual-core chip comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and has support for aptX and AAC, and has dual-channel transmission that reduces latency by 44% and decreases power consumption by 30%.
As for power consumption, the TWS can last up to 4 hours on a single charge, and the supplied charging case give it up to 24 hours of battery life.
For the design, the TWS earbuds are light at 4.4g per earpiece and sport 14.2mm drivers and an industry-first dual-capacitance in-ear sensing technology. vivo claims that this tech improves the TWS earbuds’ sensors and power efficiency.
The TWS earbuds are priced at CNY 999(~Php 7.4k) and will be available in China on September 28.
