Vivo Officially Launches In-Display Fingerprint Scanner-Equipped X20 Plus UD

After a CES 2018 unveiling and several teasers, Vivo has officially made official the X20 Plus UD, its first phone with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Aside from the in-display fingerprint scanner, what makes the X20 Plus UD different from the regular X20 Plus is that the former is slightly heavier at 183.1 grams (compared to 181.5 grams on the X20 Plus). In addition, the X20 Plus UD gets a larger internal storage at 128GB and a slightly smaller battery at 3800mAh.

  • 4GB of RAM
  • 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display
  • 128GB of expandable storage (up to 256GB via MicroSD card)
  • 4G, LTE
  • Dual SIM
  • 12-megapixel f/1.8 primary rear camera, and 5-megapixel secondary rear camera
  • 12-megapixel front camera, f/2.0 aperture
  • WiFi, Bluetooth
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • Android 7.1 Nougat with FunTouch OS 3.2
  • 3800mAh battery

The X20 Plus UD will be available in black (with gold trim) and will sell for CNY 3,598 (~Php 28.8k). No word yet if the X20 Plus UD will be sold outside of China as of the moment.
