Will it be similar to the one spotted at MWC 2019?
After unveiling the APEX 2019 smartphone at MWC 2019, vivo sent out invites to the media for a hands-on experience with the futuristic smartphone.
Making the APEX 2019 unique is its button-free and near-hole free layout, where traditional buttons are replaced with capacitive buttons and the speaker earpiece is substituted by using a piezoelectric transducer. For charging and data transfer needs, the APEX 2019 has a lone magnetic port to take care of business.
Powering the APEX 2019 is a Snapdragon 855 processor with up to 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB internal storage, and dual 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel rear cameras. Since there are no holes and no notches at sight, the biggest mystery with the APEX 2019 is the location of the front camera—vivo might have found a way of concealing the camera behind the display like OPPO and Xiaomi.
No word yet if the APEX 2019 will be available to consumers, so stay tuned to the site for updates.
