Vivo Wins Another Marketing Coup, Now An Official Sponsor Of 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup

Another win for Vivo

Vivo has managed to score a marketing coup, as the Chinese smartphone brand will sponsor the FIFA World Cup for six years, covering two tournament cycles, specifically covering the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups.

In exchange, Vivo’s logo will appear on advertising boards, tickets on venues, basically anything and everything that’s related to the World Cup for the next six years.

Vivo’s been pushing hard to be recognized around the globe – their V3 and V3 Max launch in India that we attended also served as the platform for their partnership with Indian Premier League. They’ve also secured a strategic partnership with NBA China, and who can forget that the NBA’s hottest star, Stephen Curry, is the brand’s current face for all its campaigns in the region.
