With telco companies beginning to roll out 5G networks in the Philippines, phone brands are beginning to bring some of their 5G devices to our shores. Currently, Huawei, Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi, and OnePlus have 5G devices available locally, and vivo and Realme are expected to bring their own 5G phones soon.
In Smart’s 5G materials, they revealed the Huawei P40 Pro and Nova 7 as their initial list of 5G-ready devices, along with the vivo X50 Pro and what appears to be the Realme X50 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra as upcoming 5G devices.
To recap, the vivo X50 Pro is a premium mid-range phone that is powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor and stands out with its one-of-a-kind 48-megapixel f/1.6 IMX598 main camera with a gimbal system. On the other hand, the Realme X50 Pro is the brand’s flagship phone that uses a Snapdragon 865 processor and comes with 65W SuperDart Wired Charging, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.
