Vivo, Xiaomi And OPPO Band Together For Trouble-free File Sharing

No more hassle when sharing files

Three mobile smartphone companies have banded together to bring a new wireless transfer system to consumers around the world.

vivo, OPPO and Xiaomi have collaborated on an initiative dubbed Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance, which allows quick and easy file transfers with a single click.

The initiative will now allow the phones of the three brands to share files and data without the need for third-party applications and network data. It also doesn’t require mobile data to operate, relying instead on Bluetooth and WiFi P2P for instant, low-power transfer of data.

The tech delivers an average transfer speed of 20MB/s and allows users to continue using their phones as normal while the transfer progresses.

This feature will be gradually rolled out on new Vivo products in different markets from February 2020.
