vivo to Launch Snapdragon 460-powered Y20 Series Soon

OPPO is not the only one launching a Snapdragon 460-powered phone soon: vivo, in fact, is set to announce two phones powered by the new processor soon with the Y20 series. According to marketing materials found by Stufflistings, the Y20 series will comprise of the Y20 and Y20i, with the key difference being RAM, charging speeds, and color availability.

The Y20 gets 4GB RAM, 18w wired charging, and Obsidian Black and Dawn White colors, while the Y20i gets 3GB RAM, 10w wired charging, and Nebula Blue and Dawn White color options.

Common specs between the two include a Snapdragon 460 processor, 5000mAh battery, 6.51-inch HD+ display, 8-megapixel selfie cameras, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and triple rear cameras that comprises of a 13-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Announced last January, the Snapdragon 460 is the successor to 2017’s Snapdragon 450. It shares similarities to the Snapdragon 662—11nm process, Adreno 610 GPU, Snapdragon X11 modem, and Spectra 340T processor—while its cores run at a lower 1.8Ghz clock speed.
