Vivo’s Upcoming V5 Plus Has Dual Front Cameras

Phones with dual cameras are starting to become the norm nowadays, and Vivo’s the latest brand to try and capitalize on the trend. But instead of using two dual rear cameras, the brand has put two front-facing cameras on their latest device to enhance your selfie game.

Rumored to launch later this month in India (and endorsed by none other than NBA superstar Stephen Curry), the V5 Plus is rumored to sport two front facing cameras, one 20-megapixel Sony IMX376, f/2.0 aperture), one 8-megapixel to help you boost your selfie cred. The idea of dual selfie cameras isn’t new – Lenovo’s Vibe S1 was the first phone to feature two dual, front facing cameras, which allowed users to add bokeh effects to selfies, as well as cut out unwanted subjects like unwilling photobombers.

The rest of the specs aren’t too shabby as well – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor is rumored to power the phone, along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The display is a 5.5-inch full HD panel as well.
