  1. Samsung must step up its game in the midrange arena. if this is priced within that price point here in the PH, this is seriously a contender in that range. Samsung J5 cost around 12k and it is not even that close in terms of specs and design of the Zenfone 3 ergo Asus’ is a no brainer.

    1. I think Samsung’s A series is their midrange lineup. the J series is actually their budget (no, more like entry-level) phone. On looks, ZF3 and A7 is actually too close to call, and will mostly be based on personal preference.

Not an Asus hater (I owned a ZF2 before), but now that you can get an A7 2016 for about 17-18K, it’s gonna be tight. My vote still goes to Samsung for its beautiful sAMOLED display, plus it’s a Samsung.

      1. yeah. “plus it’s a Samsung” hahaha! yes, it’s Samesung that is trying hard to compete with apple when it comes to design and quality but always fail over the years. Samsung phones are good in its first year but gradually slows down or damage over the years. even of their other products like sound appliances, TVs and washing machines. lousy built products.
