We put the two phones up against each other!

Aside from unboxing the Flare X today, we also decided to take a look at its closest competitor as far as specs are concerned: the Firefly Mobile Allure 64 LTE. Both phones are sold by local brands, both phones have the same processor and RAM combination. Before people start complaining about the lack of gaming and performance testing, this is an INITIAL comparison video only. We’ll be doing another full comparison video once we finish our review of the Flare X, so relax lang tayo. 😀

  2. What firmware are you using on the allure 64 LTE? There was an ota released but it seems your review and this initial comparison doesn’t mention that.

    1. sa china phone blog may nabasa ako na ang flare x ay ang jiayu s3 at yung firefly allure ay ang ulefone be touch. kahit na mababa ang bat ng allure masmatagal siya dahil siya stock rom ng ulefone at hd display lang. at nabasa ko rin na kahit hd lang siya maganda ang sharpness ng display. mas recommend nila ang ulefone

    1. I don’t think the Cherry Mobile Flare X is available yet. July pa yata, with wide availability around end-July.

  5. Regarding the download issue on the Allure, hindi kaya Google ang may problema? I encountered it before on another device. Bagal magdownload ang one app, but okay iyung iba. Now, I am having slow download with Antutu on one of my new device but when I cancelled and download a different one, mabilis naman. Antutu lang mabagal, hindi kaya server ng Google na ng ha-handle ng Antutu file ang mabagal? Ayaw, pa-benchmark yata. 🙂

  6. CM is better, why? 1080p resolution. Kaya mataas yung antutu ng Allure because 720p resolution lang screen. Mas mataas ang fps na makukuha sa 720p compare to full HD 1080p. Kung 1080p yung screen resolution ng Allure, babagsak yung antutu score nya. Almost the same score lang ng CM.
