Will they beat OPPO to the punch?

OPPO’s been doing their fair amount of teasing for their new R7 (which the company have confirmed is real through an email) but a relatively unknown (to the west) Chinese company Oukitel is apparently looking to beat them to the punch. We’ve been sent photos from a tipster of the company’s upcoming bezel-less phone, which is rumored to be released during the 18TH HK Global Sources Mobile Electronics Fair that starts on April 18.

The new phone sports a 5.5-inch 2.5d “water-drop” display, Android Lollipop plus 2GB of RAM and at least 16GB of storage on board. The yet unnamed phone (rumored to be named the Universe T) is set to be powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit, quad-core MT6735 and has a fingerprint sensor at the back that’s supposedly sourced from the same people that made the one for Huawei’s Mate7. Finally, the unannouced phone will get a fast charge capability that’s supposed to be able to charge the phone up to 75% in 30 minutes or so.

  1. 75% in 30 mins? Sounds like someone bought rights for the Oppo’s VOOC fast charging technology.
    Someone’s a traitor. kek,

    1. hindi siya traitor kung “binili” ung rights, kumita ang oppo dun eh.
kung “copied” or “Reverse engineered”, ibang usapan na un.

  2. Hi friends, the Android N will be released soon, and it is confirmed that N stand for “Nougat”. I found a Geek Love video and in this video describe the Android N. Besides, Geek Love use the Bluboo Maya and Oukitel U7 Pro to analyse the differences between Android 6.0 and Android 5.1. Search on youtube “Android Nougat vs Android 6.0 vs Android 5.1”
