In the market for an external portable hard drive?
Western Digital announced today the availability of their newest external portable harddrive, the My Passport Ultra. Main features of this device are USB 3.0 connectivity for faster data transfer, built-in WD SmartWare Pro back-up software with Dropbox integration, and hardware encryption coupled with password protection for security. Capacities are 500GB (Php3,790,) 1TB (Php5,090), and 2TB (no price yet and will only be available in Q3). All the My Passport Ultra HDDs come with a carrying pouch.
We’re thinking of buying a 1TB model. If ever we do expect the usual unboxing post. 🙂
