What Motorola Products Do You Want In The PH?

Give us some Nexus 6 loving!

As we reported a few days ago, Motorola is returning in the PH after a long hiatus. We’ve long suspected that the company would return to the Pearl of the Orient, especially after it was purchased by Lenovo a couple of months back. Motorola has done interesting things in the US, where their Nexus 6, Moto 360 smartwatch and Moto X earned them a rabid following.

While Motorola phones are sold here in the Philippines by way of parallel imports by sellers like Kimstore, nothing beats getting official warranties from the companies that you buy your gadgets from. While July 15 is still a few days away, we thought it’d be a good idea to gauge interest on which phone Unbox readers would want to buy from Motorola.

For us, it has to be the flagship of the Nexus series, the Nexus 6. While it’s bigger than most phones in the market today, it’s still a pretty powerful device truth be told, and there’s just something about Motorola’s devices that make them stand out from the pack. Speaking of standing out from the pack, we’d also love it if Motorola brings their Moto Maker service here in the PH – if there’s one thing Filipinos love doing, it’s customizing their phones, and their Moto Maker is something that they can leverage as no other company does that in the PH.

Anyway, enough about us. What Motorola phone would you like to see in the Philippines when they re-launch? Let us know in the comments below!

  1. I would love to see the moto e and Moto G, even the moto x and the nexus 6 (well pretty much their whole line up haha but not a fan of the Droid turbo). I’m also hoping they can have the moto 360 at its current discounted price. It will also be nice to try out their line of accessories which seems promising.

  2. I hope Motorola would release new versions of Moto x this year. Also they would bring Nexus 5 or rather releases a newer version. I hope they’ll maintain their up-to-date OTA update this will bring pure android experience.

  3. Droid Turbo at Moto G 2015 series. Panget daw ang Nexus 6, maraming disappointed sa camera at over all build.

  4. Moto X and Nexus 6. Say what you want about moto X’s specs but the software experience is what something you should look into plus it’s running stock android kaya siguradong walang bloat (few moto additions are still useful) at may software updates ka pa. Also nexus the nexus 6 maganda pang consume ng media.

    1. As long as it has double tap to wake, and data saving built-in like color OS, it’s cool for me.,

  5. But what if gagawin tayong tambakan nga mga old midrange na hnd na mabenta gaya ng ginagawa ng Xiaomi wag naman

  6. Resurrecting the dead? What’s up with Lenovo (and for that matter TCL) bringing in brands that have few consumer recall? TheseChinese companies sure do have necromancy fetish lelz.

  7. Where do you people get this news of a Nexus 5 from Motorola? AFAIK, LG and/or Huawei will be making the next Nexus phones.
