We received a couple of messages last week asking about our recommendation for Android tablets that come bundled with mobile data postpaid plans from Globe, Smart, or Sun. Right now the best available option is the LG G Pad 8.3. It’s really a great tablet as it has a very premium build, top-of-the-line specifications, and a gorgeous display. However we did notice one gadget that’s missing in all the postpaid offerings of all the local telcos — the Google Nexus 7 (2013).
The Google Nexus 7 is arguably still the Android tablet to beat and it’s mind-boggling why neither Smart or Globe are offering it. The low price point will also enable them to bundle it with even lower priced postpaid mobile data plans. Here’s a short video review that we did of the Google Nexus 7 (2013) a few months back:
Hopefully one of them starts offering it soon as we might be only a few months away from the 2014 edition, lol.
