The flagship killer to watch out for
Together with the opening of the Mi Authorized Store in Lucky Chinatown Mall, Mi Philippines officially announced the local availability of their new, affordable Mi 9 flagship.
The Mi 9 offers all the features you expect in a 2019 flagship: Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Mi 9’s standout feature are its cameras: the triple rear camera setup consists of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 main camera, 16-megapixel Sony IMX 481 ultra-wide-angle camera, and 12-megapixel Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto camera. Xiaomi has been working hard to improve the output of their cameras, and it shows: the Mi 9’s triple cameras have been rated highly by DxOMark, with the Mi 9 scoring a total score of 107, with a video score of 99—the highest for the said category.
Rounding up the Mi 9’s impressive spec sheet is a 3300mAh battery with support for 27w fast wired charging and 20w fast wireless charging and Android Pie out of the box.

The Mi 9 is priced at Php 22,990 for the 6GB/64GB variant and Php 24,990 for the 6GB/128GB variant. It will be available starting March 30 at all Mi Authorized stores and at Xiaomi’s official Lazada store.
