Xiaomi Announces the Redmi 3s

Xiaomi Redmi 3S

With the competition between smartphone manufacturers getting tougher by the day, it comes to no surprise that brands would update the internals of devices that have only been out in the market for a couple of months. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 has only been in the market since the start of the year, but with the recent influx of new handsets within its price range, the Chinese brand ups its game by releasing the Xiaomi Redmi 3S.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Specifications

5-inch IPS LCD 1280×720 Resolution
Qualcomm Snapdragon 430
Adreno 505 GPU
2GB RAM/16GB Internal Storage
3GB RAM/32GB Internal Storage
13-Megapixel Rear Camera f/2.0, PDAF, LED Flash
5-Megapixel Front Camera f/2.2
4G LTE
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth 4.1
A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS
Fingerprint Scanner
4100 mAH Battery
Android 5.1 Lollipop

As listed above, the Redmi 3S will ship in two RAM and Internal Storage configurations with the 2GB RAM/16GB Storage variant costing CNY 699, or P4925, and the 3GB RAM/32GB Storage costing CNY 899, or P6333; both variants’ internal storage can be, of course, expanded via a MicroSD card. The big question is: “Will we see these phones officially released in the PH?”

  1. Sadly no. Its pretty much dead so the only choice is the non-official retailers. I don’t know why they abandon their market hear, since its going well and offer the best bang for the buck phones, earphones and other accessories.
