Here’s a new pair of ultra-budget headphones from Xiaomi – the Xiaomi Piston Fresh In-Ear headphones. Pegged at a very affordable price tag of CNY 29 (~Php 200), the Piston Fresh In-Ear comes in five different shades of blue, black, pink, purple and silver.
According to Xiaomi, these headphones sport aluminum chambers, which provide good aural experience. The Piston Fresh is also built of anodized aluminum alloy material, making it scratch-resistant and non-slip.

Other notable features of the Piston Fresh In-Ear include a third-generation damping system, a built-in microphone, and a control pod for calls and volume control.
For audiophile specs, the headphones have 32 Ohms impedance, 20Hz to 20000Hz frequency response range, 5mW rated power and a weight of 14 grams.
For $4 (~Php 200), these headphones are quite a steal, given Xiaomi’s reputation with their Piston series. The Piston Fresh In-Ear comes with two different sizes of ear plugs and is currently on sale in China. No word yet from Xiaomi on local availability.
Online retailer Lazada has been selling Xiaomi headphone for some time now, so it’s probably safe to expect the Piston Fresh In-Ear headphones getting stocked there soon.
