Xiaomi Mi 9 Beats Galaxy Note 9, iPhone XS Max in DxOMark

Fresh from its official unveiling in China, Xiaomi’s Mi 9 flagship phone is making waves not just for its incredible price-to-specs ratio, but also in actual performance. DxOMark got their hands on the Mi 9, and gave the flagship phone an overall score of 107—beating Apple’s iPhone XS Max and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9.

Going through the score’s breakdown, the Mi 9 scored 112 for the photo category, with DxOMark citing its very consistent exposure regardless of the situation, along with a speedy autofocus system and a reliable LED flash.

As for the video category, the Mi 9 garnered a highly commendable score of 99—the best in the said category according to DxOMark. Detail rendering is incredible even at 4K resolution, and its image stabilization gets the job done even when shooting at Ultra HD.
