The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 hype train is in full steam as an allegedly “official” product teaser and “unofficial” device renders have been sighted in several Chinese forums. The teaser ad showcases the back of the Mi Note 2, with an iPhone 7 Plus-like setup for its dual-camera shooters.

The renders, on the other hand, are fan-made but based on earlier rumors, so they feature a different dual-camera layout than the more recent “official” teaser material.
Given Mi Note 2‘s supposed release window later this year, the phablet is expected to go up against Huawei’s premium tablet, also with rear dual snappers, the Mate 9.
