To have the same price of the MiBand 2
Following the success of the MiBand 2, Xiaomi is slated to launch the MiBand 3 later this year. The MiBand 2’s successor is reported to have an OLED display and Bluetooth 4.2 LE certification. It will also come with the MiBand 2’s features like heart rate tracking.
Battery life will be improved to 2-3 weeks, but a few compromises are made to achieve such a battery life which include removing the built-in GPS and continuous heart rate tracking.
