Xiaomi Philippines Finally Unveiling New Products?

Xiaomi New Products

Possible Redmi 2, Yi Action Camera on the way?

It’s no secret that other countries have been showered with Xiaomi’s latest products while the Philippines have been left with rather dated devices like the Redmi 1s and the Mi 3. That may change this month – Xiaomi has posted a teaser video on their Mi Philippines Facebook page of possible products that the company will be revealing this month.

Happy Easter, Mi fans!! :) Mi Bunny left these Easter eggs for you–a sneak peek at what's coming your way this month….

The video shows icons that hold clues to what products will be showing up in Lazada in the next few weeks, with the first being another sale for their Mi Power Banks. But the following icons – a power button, the number 2 and a book may point to new products down the line.

The power button matches the one in the Yi Action camera perfectly, while the number 2 may signify the arrival of the Redmi 2 in the country. We’re not too sure about the book – maybe it’s alluding to the book reading capabilities of the Mi Pad?

In any case, Xiaomi will reveal the products in the next few weeks. The Philippines is badly in need of new products from Xiaomi – with more and more rivals competing for the bang-for-the-buck crown, Xiaomi will need to work a lot harder to keep the hype up for their products.

  1. hhmmm powerbank, YI Action Camera, Redmi 2, and I think you have a point with miPad damn tablet been waiting for ages

  2. Mi Powerbank, Yi Action Camera, Redmi 2/2A, and possibly the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro. Hope Xiaomi opens a physical store here in PH.

  3. Just my 2 cents:
I think I may decode that Xiaomi picture shown above:
“Power on to study” is what it may say, implying that there would be a promo for students on either low prices or new products for low prices. I’m not sure.
