New dual-lens phone from Xiaomi?
Dual-lens cameras are nothing new. Phones like the HTC One M8 and the Honor 6 Plus have successfully employed a dual camera setup before, so it’s not that far-fetched for companies to try and use the unique technology. Chinese giant Xiaomi is looking to use the same dual-camera setup with their new, unannounced phone, according to Gizchina.
A dual-camera setup usually means one thing – serious re-focus action. We’ve seen it on the Honor 6 Plus before, and that may be Xiaomi’s target with the new phone.
Aside from the dual cameras, the leaked photograph shows a glossy back, along with the prominent MI logo on the lower half of the phone. The image also shows a metal frame, as well as the absence of speaker grilles either on the back or bottom of the phone, which means that the yet unannounced phone might possibly sport front-facing speakers.
