Expect them to arrive at the latter half of 2017

Despite Xiaomi’s exit in the Philippine market last year, the company’s products are still highly sought after by people looking for bang-for-the-buck devices, despite the lack of official warranty.

But there’s hope still – we’ve received independent confirmation from two sources that the company will be setting up shop in the Philippines again through official channels, along with a concept store.

This lines up with the information that Yugatech received on the issue.

Xiaomi will possibly be back in stores by August, though that’s just a rough estimate that may change in the future. It seems like the company has also learned its lesson here in the Philippines, and will start pushing their products in traditional retail channels rather than the online-only model that they pushed while they were still here.
