It’s a direct effect of going offline

It’s been a few weeks since Xiaomi made the decision to go offline, and it seems that prices for some of their products have gone up slightly to account for that. It’s only natural of course – selling offline means that they now have to worry about a bigger distribution network, offline costs and higher margins for sellers.

To put things into context, the powerbanks that they had 5200mAh slim and the 10,400mAh were previously listed as having a price of Php 445 and Php 645. Now, the 5000mAh powerbank and 10,400mAh powerbank are now listed as having prices of Php 649 and Php 849.

Anyway, the two powerbanks will be on sale tomorrow and will be hitting authorized Xiaomi retail centers soon.
