Xiaomi Tears Down Its Mi 9T

Xiaomi Tears Down Its Mi 9T

Check out the guts of their new phone

Xiaomi’s set to launch the Mi 9T in the Philippines come Monday, but before then you can see exactly what’s inside the phone courtesy of this teardown video that Xiaomi posted on Twitter.

The video clearly shows the pop-up camera that’s driven by a stepper motor which is the most popular method for pop-up cameras right now, along with the 48-megapixel main camera, ultra-wide sensor as well as the motherboard that houses the Snapdragon 730 chipset.

That pop-up camera looks pretty cool in motion that we wish Xiaomi would release a special edition version of the Mi 9T that had a transparent cutout that clearly shows it going up and down.

To keep you up to date, the Xiaomi Mi 9T has a Snapdragon 730 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. You get a 4000mAh battery with fast charging, along with Android Pie and MIUI 10 out of the box.

The phone is set to be launched on Monday, June 24.
