Leaked renders and specs indicate that it is related to the Mi CC9e
With the Mi A2 receiving several price cuts as of late, it is expected that the Mi A3 is coming soon. Xiaomi confirmed this in a tweet, and even updated its Twitter handle to include #PhotosWithoutLimits—hinting at the photography capabilities of the Mi A3.

As for how the device will look like, WinFuture shared what appears to be official renders of the Mi A3. As confirmed by previous rumors, the Mi A3 is basically an Android One version of the Mi CC9e. Aside from the Android One certification, the only difference between the two is that the Mi A3 will have a Full HD+ display.
Everything else is expected to be the same: Snapdragon 665, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, 4000mAh battery with quick charging, and a 48-megapixel f/1.79 main rear camera.
WinFuture adds that the Mi A3 is expected to launch in the next few weeks, indicating an impending global announcement.
