More than an incremental upgrade
After a delayed MWC 2018 launch, Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi MIX 2S in China. While it looks like the Mi MIX 2 upon first impressions, the Mi MIX 2S gets a few upgrades: It sports a Snapdragon 845 processor, along with 8GB RAM and a ceramic rear shell.
For the first time in the MIX series, the Mi MIX 2S now has a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a wide-angle and telephoto lens, along with a Sony IMX 363 sensor and larger 1.4µm pixels. Along with the upgraded hardware, the Mi MIX 2S has updated photography software with AI. One of the features includes transforming bokeh blur into different shapes, and multiple scene detection.

The Mi MIX 2S is priced at RMB 3299 (~Php 27.6k)Â for the 6GB/64GB variant, RMB 3599(Php 30.1k) for the 6GB/128GB variant, and RMB 3999(~Php 33.5k) for the 8GB/256GB variant. The top tier variant comes bundled with a wireless charger.
