Xiaomi’s AirDots Pro Aims to Go Against Apple’s AirPods

They have a better design while having a relatively affordable price

Xiaomi joins the truly wireless earbuds bandwagon with the AirDots Pro. Like Apple’s AirPods and Huawei’s FreeBuds, the AirDots Pro come in a handy charging case to store and juice up the earbuds when not in use. They come with 7mm neodymium iron boron drivers and a titanium-plated diaphragm for improved frequency response.

Like the Free Buds, the AirDots Pro comes with silicone ear tips for a better fit than the AirPods. What makes them slightly better, however, is that they come with active noise cancellation for calls. There’s also touch controls for managing your music and calls, along with voice assistance.

As for the battery life, Xiaomi claims of up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge, and a one hour charging time.

Unlike the AirPods, the AirDots Pro have a relatively affordable $60(~Php 3.2k) price tag. That’s more than half the price of the AirPods, which officially cost $159(~8.4k). The AirDots Pro will be officially available on January 11, and expect Xiaomi to most likely bring them to our shores.
