The tech rumor mill is in full blast recently for Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Note 2, and from the looks of it the new device may end up to be a powerhouse of a phone, easily placing it as a top contender as far as flagships go. Earlier renders, mockups and leaks point to new phone as having a dual-edged curved variant, as well as a twin-camera setup on the rear. Unfortunately the only purported “live” photo of the curved display was taken with the lights off, which means it could well be any other phone with a curved display and MIUI installed.
Moving on to the internals of the phone, a leaked screenshots point to beastly internals on at least one of the versions that will be sold. The screenshot supposedly shows the phone running Android Nougat out of the box, along with MIUI 8 with 6GB of RAM, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 and 64GB of internal storage.
If the photo is legit, then the Mi Note 2 will join an elite list of phones currently packing 6GB of RAM, currently occupied by phones like the ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the OnePlus 3 and the Vivo Xplay5 Elite.
