First stop: Malaysia

Remember the MiPad? Xiaomi’s tablet that the company promised would be released in the Philippines along with the three other phones? Well, it’s finally making its way out of China, with an English UI in tow. Xiaomi Malaysia teased a pixelated image of the next product that they’ll be unveiling in that particular market, and it seems that the Mi Pad is it.

Of course this doesn’t guarantee that the MiPad will hit our shores – Xiaomi has bypassed the Philippines for the Redmi Note and Note 4G, even though both devices were sold in every other international market that Xiaomi operates in. Hopefully we’re not given the cold shoulder again when it comes to this particular tablet.
