Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 Pro Has 4 AI-powered Cameras

It’ll make its way to PH shores soon

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi 6 Pro in Thailand recently, with the company’s official Facebook account in Siam showing off the phone.

The headline feature is the dual cameras on both the front and back, and Xiaomi is promising the cameras to have “AI dynamic bokeh” as well as “AI portrait 2.0” tech.

As far as the actual cameras go, the rear shooter has a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 12-megapixel f/1.9 main camera, while the front camera has a 20-megapixel sensor plus a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The screen is a 6.26-inch IPS display with a notch and full HD resolution protected by Gorilla Glass. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Xiaomi is selling the Redmi Note 6 Pro for THB 6,990 for the 4/64GB version, which comes out at just around Php 11.6K when directly converted. While no official launch has been set for the Philippines, John Chen, Xiaomi’s Regional Director said that the phone would be coming to the PH “soon”.
