Your toilet seat (might) deserve an upgrade
Xiaomi can be likened to our own CD-R King, but they come up with more cool products that go beyond phones and TVs. Case in point? this smart toilet seat from their Smartmi line.
You might ask why would one invest on a new toilet seat for 1199 Yuan (~Php 9.9k), and this smart toilet seat comes with a few fun features: To start off, it has a sensor that warns you if you have been sitting on the toilet for a while (30 minutes specifically).
Second, it has three (!) adjustable water temperatures for washing, giving you a bidet-like experience. It’s heating system for the water is pretty clever too, as it uses a special ceramic heating element to deliver that heated water in seconds.
Of course, being a smart product, the Smart Seat comes with an array of sensors that lets you customize your optimal water temperature, seat temperature, and washing pressure according to your preferences. It even has Bluetooth, as you can sync it with your Mi Band to adjust to your preferred settings. If you are not into that thing, no worries: It comes with its own set of controls, similar to most toilets in Tokyo:
