Xiaomi’s Upcoming Mi Max 4 and Mi Max 4 Pro Will Have Big Screens, Big Batteries

These are almost tablets

Xiaomi’s Mi Max and Mi Max Pro smartphones (which is now on their fourth iteration) have always been big phones, but leaks in Chines social media Weibo point to the devices being as big as tablets.

According to information unearthed by Gizchina, the two phones will have 7.2-inch screens, which basically puts them at the tablet side of things if we’re being honest.

Aside from the large displays, the new phones are also rumored to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor and Snapdragon 675 chipset, with a mix of 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage as well as the same 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor that’s currently on the Redmi Note 7.

Both phones will also have a massive 5,800mAh battery with support for an 18W fast charger, along with Android 9 Pie with Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 layered on top.

Projected pricing for the phones starts at around RMB 1,599 or Php 12.4K.

  1. Very interesting specs on the MiMax4. Just wonder if it has onscreen fingerprint as well as face recognition. That combined with micro SD slot and fast wireless charging would make it a winner!
