It will come with flexible screen refresh options
A few days back, OnePlus confirmed that they will be launching a phone with a 120Hz display for this year. This display tech is expected to appear on the OnePlus 8 Pro, and an apparent real-life image of the phone surfaced, confirming the punch-hole display.
Showing the settings menu, the OnePlus 8 Pro will let users choose between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz refresh rates, giving them the freedom to choose between better battery life and smoother display experience. Unlike with the OnePlus 7 Pro, 7T, and 7T Pro, the OnePlus 8 Pro’s balanced setting is at 90Hz.
While we know that you can choose between three refresh rate options, there’s no word yet if the OnePlus 8 Pro will allow a 120Hz refresh rate at Quad HD+ resolution—recent reports said that all Galaxy S20 variants will limit resolution at Full HD when 120Hz is enabled.
