Xiaomi is no stranger to making unusual products. In their vast product portfolio, they have made a smart shoe, a DIY robot kit, and a smart toilet seat. The latest unusual Xiaomi product is the Mijia quartz watch.
Upon first glance, the Mijia quartz watch looks like your typical ticker with a traditional face and a 40mm dial. A closer inspection reveals that the sub-dial is not a seconds counter—instead, it is used as a step counter. 
Even with a skinny 3.2mm profile at its thinnest point, the Mijia quartz watch has Bluetooth 4.0, and syncs via Android or iOS. The watch’s Bluetooth functionality lets you notify you of calls, alarms, and reminders with a vibration. All of these is powered by a CR2430 that promises up to 6 months of battery life—not bad for a smartwatch disguised as a regular water-resistant watch.
The Mijia quartz watch will go on sale in China tomorrow for CNY 349(~Php 2.8k).
