And it’s heading to the PH
Remember ZTE’s Axon phone that was originally launched in the US? Well, ZTE has unveiled the Axon Elite which is essentially that with a few enhancements and guess what? It’s heading our way. The Axon Elite is similar to the original Axon in many ways – Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, 5.5-inch QHD display – with an added fingerprint scanner on the back and expandable storage.
ZTE Axon specs
- 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor
- 4GB of RAM
- 5.5-inch QHD display, 2560 x 1440 resolution
- 32GB of storage, expandable
- 13-megapixel dual-lens rear camera, 4K recording
- 5-megapixel front camera
- 3G, LTE
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, NFC
- 3000mAh battery
- Android 5.1 Lollipop
The Axon Elite is slated to arrive in the PH at the end of September, according to Android Authority for around 419 Euros or Php 22K. At that price point, it’s a legitimate threat to all the other flagship smartphones out in the market currently IF ZTE manages to keep the original price when it officially lands here.
