Good TV Series Picks from iflix
To be honest, most of us were skeptical when video streaming services and apps like iflix started to arrive in the Philippines. After all we’re used to downloading videos more than streaming them. It also doesn’t help that telcos are moving to data bucket offers instead of Unlimited. However after subscribing and using iflix for a few weeks now we’re happy to say that we’ve turned a new leaf and are now converts!
There are several blogs out there that have written that the “number of hours of content” being offered by video streaming services determine which one is the best. We disagree. It’s not the number of hours that matter, it’s the quality of the shows (TV, movies, documentaries, etc) that determine if one will subscribe, enjoy, and stay.
Since we’re primarily iflix subscribers, we put together a short list of 10 TV shows that we’ve been trying to watch. “Trying” because there’s just so much of them, hehe.
- Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Seasons 1 and 2)
- Scandal (Seasons 1-4)
- Friends (Season 1-10)
- The Big Bang Theory (Seasons 1-7)
- The Mentalist (Seasons 1-6)
- Sherlock (BBC)(Seasons 1-2)
- Arrow (Seasons 1-2)
- Homeland (Seasons 1-3)
- Person of Interest (Seasons 1-3)
- Black Sails (Seasons 1-2)
It’s also nice to note that the library of content keeps getting bigger and better with each passing week. We’re hoping that they get the latest seasons of The Mentalist, Agents of SHIELD, Sherlock, and Arrow soon.
