Own the Fastest Hunk of Junk in the Galaxy

Fresh off the heels of the announcement for the cutest little smartphone-controlled droid that have grown men asking their wives if they can forego some basic necessities to afford it, The Sphero BB-8, comes another gadget that just might have your wife or significant other wishing they could use a Jedi mind trick to make you think that this is not the drone you are looking for. Ladies, Gentlemen, and fellow Star Wars geeks, The Millenium Falcon and X-Wing Drone.

Announced during an 18-hour long marathon unboxing, a remote controlled drone of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy was unveiled alongside the X-Wing. They have yet to announce its price so we can hold our breath on that, but Disney says that these little gadgets will be available in the US today, September 4. There are very few details regarding the drones and we have yet to see footage of the X-Wing in flight, but we’ve been hearing The Millenium Falcom is essentially a remote-controlled quadcopter drone. The drones are manufactured by a company called Air Hogs and will be made of high-density foam to help survive a dogfight with a TIE fighter – We’re keeping our fingers crossed on that too.

I think it’s pretty obvious that we cannot wait to get our hands on one of these babies and WHEN we do, we’ll be sure to engage the hyperdrive to give you more on The Millenium Falcon.
