AnTuTu Apps Removed from Google Play Store

It is said to be part of a larger crackdown

If you are thinking of downloading AnTuTu apps to check out your phone’s performance, you might be surprised that all of them are nowhere to be found at the Google Play Store.

As to why all AnTuTu apps vanished, Android Police reports that it might be part of a big crackdown of Cheetah Mobile. Android Police’s research points to AnTuTu possibly owned by Cheetah Mobile, as the privacy policy link for AnTuTu’s app listing directs to Cheetah Mobile’s site.

While AnTuTu has not confirmed its affiliation with Cheetah Mobile, Fu Sheng—the chairman/manager of Beijing Antutu Technology Co.—is also the CEO of Cheetah Mobile according to Tianyancha business database list.

Should you want to download any AnTuTu app, you can do so via OPPO App Market, vivo V-app Store, and Huawei App Gallery (AnTuTu 3D Bench only) as of this writing.
