Shingeki No Kyojin Fans This is for You!

We were shopping in Greenhills this weekend looking for some good collectible deals. We ended up taking home a rather big haul of Funko Pop figures. To those who aren’t familiar with Funko, it’s a bobblehead company that was founded in 1998. They expanded rapidly in the last decade snapping up licenses to create collectible vinyl figures for a variety of top brands including Marvel, Disney, DC, and even HBO (Game of Thrones).

Since we’re huge fans of Shingeki No Kyojin (Attack on Titan), we got the figures of Eren (this one was actually a gift from a friend, thanks Kim!), Mikasa, and the Colossal Titan. From what we know there are only four figures in this set, the last one being Eren Titan, and we plan on acquiring that one soon.

Check out our photos of the three figures and some of our thoughts about them below.

Colossal Titan!

First we have the Colossal Titan. This is the biggest in the set standing at 6-inches tall. Side-by-side with Mikasa and Eren you’ll immediately notice the size difference (just check photo at the top). We love the detail that was put into this figure as it looks outstanding from any angle you look at it.

Next up we have Eren. Due to the cloak and the 3D Gear, it’s a bit difficult to balance it so that it can stand upright. Other than that though we love everything about it, especially the green cloak. Very nice touch.

Mikasa Ackerman

Lastly we have Mikasa. Over-all it’s a nice collectible but we would have preferred it if they made the red scarf bigger since that’s one of her most iconic items. Eren had the green cloak, Mikasa should have gotten the same treatment but with the red scarf.

We’re pretty happy with all three and we’re definitely going to get the Eren Titan to complete our collection. 😀

If you’ll go around Greenhills you’ll find that the prices of these vary from shop to shop. On the average the 6-inch figures like Titan go for 900-1,000. The smaller ones like Eren and Mikasa go for 550-750.
