Activision announced a new Call of Duty game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, which can be downloaded today for free.
Officially called Call of Duty: Warzone, the 150-player battle royale mode drops everyone into Verdansk, where squads of three can loot weapons and gear and fight their way to be the last squad standing. Special features like Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, or Revive Tokens, and Cash make Call of Duty’s battle royale mode unique. There’s also Contracts, where you accomplish mini-missions to obtain rare loot, Cash, XP, and Weapon X.
The second mode, called Plunder, has teams collecting as much cash as possible to win the game. Unlike the 150-player battle royale mode, Plunder has unlimited respawns with loadouts, killstreaks, and more.
