There’s still one major superhero flick this year coming on July 22 — Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger. They’ve been promoting this movie for a while now and they even used what looked like Captain America’s shield in Iron Man 2 (when Tony Stark used it to prop one of his machines up). They just released a new poster as well as a longer and meatier trailer.
Here’s the poster:
The trailer has a lot of unseen content and we also get a better understanding of why Steve Rogers was chosen as the first person to join the Super Soldier experiment. We also see more of Tony Stark’s/Iron Man’s dad, Howard Stark at work and the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving). It’s a nice trailer so be sure to watch it below. 🙂
Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters on July 22, 2011. Hopefully it’s much better than the Green Lantern.
