Wonder Woman from the Play Arts Kai DC Variant Series
A few days ago we featured our Batman action figure from the new Play Arts Kai DC Variant series. There are actually three of them in the first set: Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern. Since they’re quite expensive (Php2,950 a pop), we were actually happy with just the Dark Knight. However after hearing that Ben Affleck was going to play Batman in the new Superman-Batman tie-up movie, we felt that our action figure became sad so we went out and bought him some company, lol. Folks, meet the Queen of the Amazons, Diana, aka Wonder Woman!
Again just in case you’re wondering who or what Play Arts Kai is, they’re actually the merchandising division of Square Enix. Yep, the same folks who make those crazy awesome Final Fantasy action figures and toys. They tied-up with DC to come up with a series of collectible action figures. All of these characters are re-imagined by the designers to give them a different look and feel. The first set included the three characters we mentioned but we’re really hoping they come up with more in the coming weeks.

We’re still debating with ourselves if we’ll buy the Green Lantern Play Arts Kai action figure. Knowing how low our EQ is though expect it to be feature on this site in less than a week, wahaha!
