No more need to go through third-party vendors

DJI (Da-Jiang Innovations Science and Technology Co., Ltd.,) recently partnered up with local tech distributor MSI-ECS to officially bring the latter’s stable of gadgets in the country. MSI-ECS will now be handling official distribution and customer support for DJI’s Phantom and Mavic Pro products, and handheld Osmo camcorders. Partner retail stores will be stocking the products soon.

According to Business World, MSI-ECS will be looking at the government, construction, and tourism sector as some of the industries which will benefit from using drones.

“In the Philippines, the interest and usage of civilian drones have also grown dramatically and we are confident that its use for commercial purposes will also gain momentum,” said Jimmy D. Go, president, and CEO of MSI-ECS Philippines.

MSI-ECS also added that DJI’s enterprise-oriented drones will also be available over pre-ordering.

Currently, DJI drones are available in the country through third-party retailers. MSI-ECS reiterated that their products come with official warranty and support, as well as being “compliant as possible” with current regulations set by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
