E3 2019 Roundup: 5 Games To Be Excited About

One has Keanu Reeves in it

E3 2019 is ongoing as of this writing, and a bunch of games was revealed during the annual convention. Among the many games announced, here are 5 titles we are definitely looking forward to:

5. Minecraft Dungeons

How do you make a game like Minecraft exciting to fans? By giving it a dungeon-themed treatment. Minecraft Dungeons introduces four-player co-op play, along with unique items, weapon enchantments, and special attacks. It is also exciting as players are on a quest to defeat the evil Arch-Illager. It will be available in a variety of platforms sometime in 2020.

4. The Sims 4: Island Living

While it is more of an expansion pack than a full-fledged game, Island Living is something worth looking forward to. Set in the tropical island of Sulani, everyone’s favorite Sim characters get to enjoy the beach, interact with marine animals, and take jobs like lifeguard or conservationist. The expansion pack is coming on June 21.

3. Halo Infinite

Making Halo Infinite special is the fact that it will be one of the first games for Microsoft’s upcoming Project Scarlett gaming console in 2020. The trailer teases the return of Master Chief following the events of Halo 5. 343 Industries describe Halo Infinite as the “spiritual reboot” of Halo, making it an ideal game to play for those who are new to the Halo franchise.

2. Doom Eternal

A successor to Doom 2016, Doom Eternal follows through with everything that made Doom 2016 a hit—and this time taking place in a “demon-infested” earth and in heaven. There’s also a new multiplayer mode called Battlemode—where two demons go against the Slayer and vice versa. Doom Eternal will be available to PC, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia on November 22, 2019.

1. Cyberpunk 2077

With a confirmed April 2020 release date for the PC platform (sorry console fans), adding to the cool factor of Cyberpunk 2077 is Keanu Reeves’ appearance in the game as Johnny Silverhand. Based on the tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a dystopian world called Night City, where players slay their way through first-person gameplay.
